We are feeling an enormous amount of gratitude as we turn the last pages of the calendar on our twenty-second year at Virun NutraBiosciences® Inc. From our early days developing immune pharmaceuticals to creating delicious supplements, to securing over 100 patents and patents pending, and expanding to another warehouse on the West Coast to crossing the pond and setting up in Ireland, we would not be anything without you—our community who share our mission to make nutritional supplements better.
In so many ways, 2024 was our most extraordinary year yet. Our R&D team formulated over 100 new lipid encapsulated creations that hit the stores near you. We launched our Ireland-based manufacturing warehouse and moved from one California facility to another, expanding to 60,000 square feet. We registered our Creamy Edible Emulsions® and Esolv® patent. We continue to deploy our patented processing techniques from the Bicarbonate Downstream Process, DPTechnology® and Probiferrin® probiotic technology to ensure that your supplements are the cleanest, most efficacious, preservative-free, and delicious liquid emulsions on the market.
We exhibited with some epic trade show booths too—from the fully interactive carnival booth with an Austin Powers impersonator at Supply Side East; to shaking up the Biohacker Summit in Helsinki; followed by bringing a full-size treehouse with Alice in Wonderland vibes to invigorate Supply Side West in October…featuring our very own Mad Hatter! From Geneva to Denver, and from Helsinki to Las Vegas…we left a trail of whimsical, irreverent fun…and copious lipid emulsified supplement sachets.
It’s not always been Mad Hatters and Austin Powers: we have come a long way, especially since our CEO, Philip Bromley, decided to shed his tie and corporate ‘look’ over a decade ago to instead embrace a septum piercing, bleached green hair, and grunge apparel—expressing his authentic, creative ‘eccentric scientist’ self that infuses Virun’s culture, connections, and epic formulations. Virun isn’t just a co-manufacturer; it’s a living, breathing rollercoaster where sharp science collides with unbounded creativity, a hint of the surreal, and a shot of vodka…or two!
To our incredible Virun family—our partners, our customers, our fellow science enthusiasts—thank you for being part of this wild ride.
